Put off by their reputation as fierce warriors and being a closed society, religious organizations, governments and even Nazi Germany had chose not to bother the Maasai. Isolated for 2,600 years and considered unreachable, with less than 1% of the estimated one million Maasai in Eastern Africa had ever heard the name Jesus when Heatherly began ministering in Kenya in 2002.

Maasai Bible College
In addition to contributing to Heatherly's missionary work, MII scholarshipped an accredited Maasai Bible School with 32 men and women who have already received their first year certificates. In 2009 Ministry International Inc. will be providing monthly financial support for active ministers.
